Episode 4: Arts, Culture, and Heritage with Lindsay Foreman

Image of Lindsay during a cedar bracelet workshop held at the Fort Langley National Historic Site last September. The workshop was put on by stɑl̓əw̓ Arts and Cultural Society (https://www.stalew.ca/home) with whom she works very closely as part of her work with the Township of Langley. Description:

In this episode, Isabelle and Sydney talk to Dr. Lindsay Foreman, an arts, culture, and heritage professional located in British Columbia, Canada. We discuss her journey through academia to where her career is now, the differences between CRM in BC and Ontario, and why all three of us would make terrible dentists! Lindsay outlines her shift in perspective towards archaeological analyses, the importance of community involvement, why the arts deserve more funding, and some challenges (and positive aspects!) of working in the arts, culture, and museum sector.
