In this episode Isabelle and Sydney chat with a B.C. archaeologist, Avery Lawrence, about cultural resource management (CRM). We discuss the transition from undergraduate student to full time CRM archaeologist, and the challenges that come with this shift. Avery gives some advice about how to build a compelling CV for her line of work, and describes what a typical week looks like for her. We end with a conversation about community involvement in CRM, and Avery discusses her hopes for the future of CRM.
